Each year, the Indianapolis Zoo creates a seasonal holiday card for friends and supporters. For the 2018 design, I hand-drew a flamingo using chalk pastels. I then imported the work into Photoshop and applied digital effects to create a snowy atmosphere. The inside left panel was intentionally left blank to allow zoo staff to handwrite personal messages for recipients. I chose a unique size to stand out from standard size greeting cards and both the card and envelope were printed on metallic silver stock, giving the pieces a subtle shimmer and elegant feel.
